
Reza Farrokhfal, born in 1949, is an Iranian writer, translator, editor, and teacher of Persian language and literature.
He began his literary career in the late 1960s by publishing stories in Jong-e Isfahan, one of the important literary journals of its time, associated with Houshang Golshiri and his circle.
His story collection Ah, Istanbul is considered one of the distinguished examples of Iranian fiction of the 1980s. Alongside fiction, he has published essays, translations, and cultural criticism, and worked for many years as an editor with leading publishers.
